Juliets Room – Juliet – Nurse – Capulet – Lady Capulet

Act 3 Scene 5 begins when Romeo and Juliet are up in her room when Nurse rushes in to warn them both that Juliet’s mother is on her way, Romeo kisses Juliet goodbye before climbing down the balcony. Lady Capulet tells Juliet that the wedding has been arranged for Thursday. Juliet does not want to marry Paris so she complains to her mother. Lady Capulet does not want to hear her whine so she sends Juliet to her father to complain.
